The Gideon Paz Leadership program by Meitar Ensemble
The goal of the Gideon Paz Leadership Program is to support and guide young musicians, coming from different backgrounds, in taking their first step towards a promising and sustainable career. We will support young musicians who seek new ways to lead the scene, looking for new horizons musically and socially. Young musicians who wish to use their talent to make a difference. We find it extremely important, especially when the future of our country and our region is under such a dramatic threat.
The selected musicians will receive mentorship at the beginning of their career, and guidance in performance, refining their agenda, business management and visibility.
We will expose them to our network and assist them in creating their own.
We will offer them financial support for educational activities in Israel and abroad.
The Gideon Paz Leadership program will pair young promising musicians with their mentor. The mentors will assist the young musicians in understanding their dreams and goals and build together a plan to make it happen. We will assist them in building this plan for the upcoming years and most importantly, in the spirit of Gideon, the mentors will be there for them, supporting them in this challenging industry.
The program will create a concert series where young musicians will be joined by members of the Meitar ensemble. The concerts will be presented in 2026 around the country.
