A new CD for the Verso (Spain) label featuring music by Fabian Panisello

On 11.8 finished the Meitar Ensemble members, the Australian soprano Allison Bell and the conductors Guy Feder and Fabian Panisello the recording of the debut CD of the ensemble for the Spanish record company, VERSO. The CD is expected to be released for commercial distribution in October. It is a collection of three works by the Argentinian composer and conductor Fabian Panisello.
This is the first ever CD recorded by an Israeli group specializing in contemporary music for an European company.
The CD launch and concert tour in Spain at the end of October is a high point in the warm relationship that developed between the composer and the Meitar Ensemble.
Our joy is mixed with sadness, the recording of the string quartet on the CD is the last recording, in which took part a beloved friend of the ensemble several months before he found his tragic death, Matan Givol, RIP.
The musicians who participated in the recordings: Roy Amotz (flute), Jonathan Hadas (clarinet), Karen Tenenbaum (violin), Matan Givol (violin), Moshe Aharonov (violin / viola), Yuval Gotlibovitch (viola), Jonathan Gotlibovitch (Cello ), Amit Dolberg (piano).
At 22.10 will take place in Tel Aviv the Israeli launch concert of the CD. That same night the musicians will leave for a tour of Spain's most important musical venues.
The recordings took place at the Jerusalem Music Center.
