Guy Feder Conductor

Graduate of The Rubin Academy of Music & Dance in Jerusalem (Dean's Award winner for his high academic achievements) and graduate of the advanced conductors' class at The Royal Danish Music Academy in Copenhagen. Mr. Feder is the conductor in residence of Meitar Ensemble and assistant conductor of Israel chamber orchestra. Guy has conducted the Israeli contemporary players, ensemble Musica Nova, ensemble Suedama (New York), Danish chamber players and the Jerusalem symphony orchestra. In June 2011 Guy was the musical director of the new composed opera "Eudipus 2011" which was premiered during Israel Festival. Besides performing the classical orchestral repertoire, Feder's other main interests & passions are for contemporary music and musical education. Guy Feder is the musical director and conductor of the Kiryat Ono Music Conservatory (Israel), he is artistic director for "Composers compose for juveniles" of the Israeli composers association.
Mr. Feder is also a recipient of The Israel-America Foundation scholarship for orchestra conducting (2000/1-2001/2), The Danish Government Scholarship (CIRIUS) and Theodore Alfred Christian artist Scholarship.
